hi sorry it’s so late a reply! London is great. Everything is happening all the time, and there is always something to do. Obviously it is expensive, but for the opportunities, people you meet, general fun stuff going on, I think if you think it will be valuable to you, it’s so worth it. Also- you’ve got killer galleries and museums everywhere!
Sometimes I walk around central london by myself aimlessly and just that in itself makes me feel so happy x
hi!! I’ll have some on sale IN THE NEW YEAR WATCH OUT NEW YORK
wow thank you for saying this
sorry for such a late reply, i am so bad at answering q’s!
I never sketch out anything in pencil first! It changes with every drawing so I couldn’t explain exactly- but I always but in the largest expanses of colour first, for example, the sky. i travel across a page quite a lot after that, filling in different details that get my attention. reportage style drawing time can vary, i’d say from 5 mins to half an hour??
I think that what makes drawing fun, if you don’t make it a formula, and you always try new things out x
draw quick and wisely?!
learn to find the little compositions you want to capture FAST so you can map the bare bones/structures on the page before it goes, and make a mental snapshot so you can fill in small extras straight after that- but really i can’t explain it- just practice!
