I have a really lovely article written about my work on It’s Nice That, if you are interested, take a look! >> http://www.itsnicethat.com/articles/joey-yu-160117
Also, thank you so much for the support and following me so far. It is very kind of you. This is a very pleasant journey i am on
thank you! hey, go and check out yann kebbi and benoit guillaume, i’ve been feeling inspired and loving their work recently and i think it’s freeing me up a little x
that’s something I struggle with; i get so restless staying in one place! obviously as well as having a part time job, enjoy what is already around- do your research about the things around you, be a tourist in your own town. you can always look at things in a new way from walking around local areas- I’d recommend looking at psychogeography- the ideas of playfulness and exploration and wandering urban areas. read this little snippet by will self to start u off: http://www.standard.co.uk/lifestyle/esmagazine/will-self-how-traversing-london-has-mapped-the-city-across-my-heart-a3177891.html
going to neighbouring towns and cities can be a cheap option!! of course, the need to explore further afield is always there- i guess we just have to be patient and save save save.
but isn’t it the greatest thing to feel like you’ve earned a trip, and to look forward to going somewhere?
good luck, i wish you the greatest luck in world adventures x
